Today we walked the Capitulation Walk in a nice sunshine. The Walk takes place annually, the Saturday after Liberation Day. Although it was said to be 40 km, it was "only" 37 km. The route was almost the same as previous years that we walked it, but it is still a great walk.
We are passing quite some World War 2 memorials on the route. From Wageningen it is in the direction of the Grebbeberg, then to Rheenen, from Rheenen all the way along the Grift to go into Wageningen again and then to Wageningen Hoog, Renkum and Bennekom to return to Wageningen again. Great route, as noted before.
