Today another preparation day for the Nijmeegse Vierdaagse. The total distance is 24 kilometers, 14.9 miles. The temperature was just above ten when we started, but soon the sun pushed away the clouds and we were walking in the full sunshine, nice and warm. First attempt to get some tan.

Why Pita Ei? Why 2009? Well, this is the 2009 version of the Pita Ei route, where the name Pita Ei was given because we pass a vending machine where you can buy eggs (ei = egg) and Pita - a family friend - told us a while back that she buys her eggs here.

The most funny part of the route is when we pass a farmhouse that has the name of "Moeders Erf" (Mothers Yard) and the name of the next farmhouse is "Naast Moeders Erf" (Next to Mothers Yard). And that is not all, they have some fun things to see, like the bikes in the photos. The sign you can see on the first photo is warning for "Zachte Berm" (Soft Shoulder).

Like with the other walks take a look at the Strava map and watch the ReLive video.
