Coincidentally-Roads Route

Sunday, Santos, Sun, yes, the three S's again. Despite of the hard wind we had a good time biking. More than 45 kilometers. The smooth gearing of the Santos, a Rohloff hub, proved to be of great fun again. Accurate and fast, with this wind you really have to change gears very often.

We decided to take some roads we discovered the last few years coincidentally. They were all as good as they were the very first tme when we "accidentally" found the roads.
One of our favorite paths is the bike lane from Kootwijkerbroek to Kootwijk. Sea-shells make out the pavement of this path. Today this path was on the route again and we found out that the the path between Kootwijk and Stroe was all concrete now. Great when you are enjoying the wind pushing you along the route.

In Kootwijk we stopped at a field that was covered with dandelions and made some photos. The field was simply too yellow to just pass it.
A field like that makes me think of the great jazz album by Eberhart Weber, Yellow Fields.
While listening to Eberhart Weber you can watch the ReLive video of the route, pretty cool. When you pay close attention you will see that we take a full round at one of the roundabouts..
