Easter Egg Hunt

What do you do when you need eggs, chicken eggs, while it is Easter? Indeed, then you try and find them. It is not like finding eggs in the Easter way of hunting for eggs, but it is trying to find a vending machine, as they are used here in the area with the plentiful chicken farms, that is "open" on a Sunday. Yes, this Easter Monday is a Sunday for the religious people here and whenever their vending machine is labeled "NOZ" (niet op zondag = not on Sundays). We had an extra challenge, finding a vending machine that accepts banknotes, because we did not have any coins.

Our regular chicken farm vending machine only accepts coins, and is most likely closed, so that one we can skip. The next two were NOZ versions, so we decided to continue to the Renswoude area. Yesterday we passed a vending machine that was open, so we figured it would be open on Easter Monday also.

We were right, the vending machine was open for business and also accepted banknotes. The eggs here were 1.50 Euro per 10. Not a bad price. Our regular chicken farm charges 1.10 per 10, an even better price.

We have of course a ReLive video of the whole route.
