Moving from Di2 to eTAP

My Scott race frame is build for the use of Di2 and this means that the Di2 electric cables go through the frame. SRAM eTAP is a wireless system, more on that another time, and because of the lack of wires, this leaves two openings in the frame that need to be plugged. You do not want water and dirt to get into the frame, right?
After a long search for possible rubber plugs to close the openings in the frame I did not find anything that was good enough to do the job. Then I had the idea to use silicon kit to close the openings, and that is what I did. Using dark-gray coloured kit it is matching up with the frame as if it is meant to be like that.
At the same time I filled the hex-bold of the seat post with the kit as well, just see how that holds, it looks at least very good.
Later I will come with some photos to show you what it now looks like. The photo on this page shows a bit of the tape that was covering the holes.
All in all a great achievement with the kit covering the holes. As said, pictures will follow soon.
